Life is like a wheel. It keeps on rolling all the time on all kinds of roads, whether you want it to or not. Things happen, but you just can't stop your life for one incident or two. Life goes on. Here, each road is different. Some roads let the wheel turn so smoothly that it ends too fast. Some roads are too harsh, full of stones, mud, thorns, and that road feels never-ending.
The road ends. Another road starts. This time, all the cracks, all the marks stay. Some people choose to heal them. Some choose to ignore, because looking at those cracks means acknowledging that it affected them, that it did hurt. They call their fragile ego strength, sovereignty. Not looking is their way of protecting themselves, because it takes courage they doubt of having. Calling themselves 'lonely' because it's easier than accepting others' presence, because that would make them look weak. Without realizing, not everyone gets the presence they are taking for granted.
A whole belief system made of sweet lies. The sweetness makes them sensitive to the bitter truth, and so blind that even when heaven offers them a full cup of fulfillment, they don't take it. They know it's there, yet they are too busy, too immersed in looking at the spilled cups in front of them, that they forget to move, even though the full cups are still standing behind them. All they need is to make a 'move'.
Yet again, fear creeps in. They refuse to see anything and put a blindfold on. The fun fact is, the blindfold is not even tied. They think the swords of danger are surrounding them, so again, they don't move out of fear. Thinking if they move, they get hurt. So they stand in their place, gripping tightly the coins of what they have built and have, so tightly that their knuckles turn white. Still fearing that if they move, they will get hurt and everything they have will fall down.
The blindfold is still loose. The cup of fulfillment is still being offered. All they need is just one movement to make the blindfold fall and loosen their grip. Enough so they can freely take the full cup of fulfillment. But here is the catch. The wheel keeps turning. The cup won't be there forever. The hands are going to go numb, and the coins are going to fall. The body is going to get tired, and the blindfold is going to fall too.
Only then do they realize the source of pain wasn't even close enough to hurt them.
And the coins of everything they had just fallen because they held onto them for too long. All gone. That the things they protected so hard were never even in danger in the first place. If anything stays, it's the grief, the guilt…… heaviest of all. And they're going to carry that for the rest of their life. The hollowness, the heaviness, but this time with no one to blame.
So, move. Make a move before it's too late. You never know how much time you have. That is strength. That is bravery. That is being strong.
